London Underground wished to update the District Line carriages that had been in service for several years and were looking tired.  Creactive needed to create a concept design for the District Line refurbishment that would be acceptable to the end users and cost effective for the operator.

We stripped out the existing carriage and refitted the interior with new seating, draughtscreens, grab rails, ceiling, lighting, flooring and revised air extraction.

The prototype carriage created a brighter, cleaner and more welcoming space for passengers.
