West Rail is delivered by 22 fully air conditioned seven-car trainsets which can operate at speeds up to 130km/h. In rush hour, each vehicle can carry 335 passengers, giving a total of 2,345 for each seven-car train. Each car has five sets of doors on each side, and full-depth skirts for noise suppression. Regenerative braking saves 25% energy used. Working with IKK, Creactive established the design of the vehicles, with the operators ultimately manufactured by Kinki Sharyo in Osaka
