The Casella team required our industrial design expertise to develop a new personal air sampling pump which measured the wearer’s exposure to dust and fumes. The design needed to be rugged, compact, easy to operate, ip54 rated, with a removable battery pack.

We designed and developed a simple product based around injection moulded parts with rubber over-moulding. This provided a tough rugged finish, fully sealed controls integrated into the rubber over-mould. It uses the overmould to provide environmental sealing between the major caseworks parts.
