Boehringer Ingelheim was
looking for a more contemporary design for their best selling Meter
Dose Inhaler, which they have produced unchanged for more than two
decades.
The new design had to update the MDI with new standards for functionality
and design, and with only a small increase in unit cost.
The design changes were in the areas of external styling, improved
ergonomics, overall colour scheme and product graphic/branding, but
no changes to the well proven mouth piece configuration.
