metro light rail heavy rail exteriors infrastructure corp id products     transport design > metro > IKK : KCRC West Rail         IKK commissioned Creactive to design the vehicle interiors for KCRC's new West Rail line, that would meet the aspirations of the customers and the functional requirements of the operators. From April until August 1999 the Creactive team worked in Kinki Sharyo’s design office in Osaka. A second office in Hong Kong became the focus of activity with KCRC. Creactive was also responsible for the design and functionality of the cab and undertook an ergonomic study to establish sight lines, driver controls, seating, etc. Full-size interior/exterior mock-ups were produced and later shipped to Hong Kong for full design approval and user trials.     about Creactive product design transport design engineering manufacturing
