Thermo Fisher Scientific required a common design theme and consistent graphic approach to be implemented to the User Interfaces (UI) of their latest anatomical pathology product range.
The project has established contemporary design styles for graphics, layout and overall look of the UI. This was achieved through the use of consistent formatting schemes by applying corporate colours, common shading and definition on buttons, easy to read universal icon graphics for button functions, non-congested screen layout, simple navigation and easy to follow graphic formats.
The final design was based on a clear understanding of the functionality and process’s controlled by the UI, combined with ergonomic and mechanical constraints relating to touch screen dimensions and available control areas as specified by Thermo Fisher Scientific AP engineering and marketing teams
