Chiltern Railways’ Intercity trains are designed for longer distance travel between the West Midlands and London. The refurbished trains offer greater comfort for customers with better on-train facilities including improved catering on peak business services and an improved working environment with specially designed lap-top friendly tables.
Creactive Design assisted with the design of the saloon, seating and vestibule areas and took inspiration from customer feedback, disability regulations and client requirements.
The Intercity DMU fleet has recently been extended by the introduction of loco-hauled silver trains - Chiltern’s Mainline offers a reduced journey time between London and Birmingham.
